In general this blog will be about the things that interest me as an archaeologist and biological anthropologist, though there may be other things that make it in here that have nothing to do with either. Friends are welcome to post their own archaeological, bioarchaeology, or bioanthropology stories (you will need to ask me to add you to the site if you want to post your own stories). Human Origins - Catalyst, 21st Feb 2008
For those of you who missed Catalyst last week (or don't live in Australia) here is the link for the story "Human Origins"
I am an archaeologist and biological anthropologist, currently working as a research assistant and doing my PhD at the Australian National University. My own research focuses on taphonomic processes, particularly on human tissues. I'm also interested in the spread and dispersal of populations and cultures through landscapes over time and how the two can be differentiated in the archaeological record.
